Recognising 17 women of spirit in our community

17 inspiring Canberra women have been named finalists in Lifeline Canberra’s 2019 Women of Spirit Awards.

“We started the Women of Spirit Awards in 2007 to shine a light on the amazing and inspirational women in our community and recognise their contributions,” Carrie Leeson CEO Lifeline Canberra said.

“Once again, we thank the Canberra community for helping us uncover 17 extraordinary women, who are giving back to our community in great ways.”

“Our annual Women of Spirit Awards recognise women who have faced adversity and have found within them the strength, not just to persevere, but to give others a helping hand.“
